What is pumpkin and pumpkin juice?


  It is round in structure having rubbed, hard, smooth skin with varying colours of orange and yellow. Its upper skin has pulp and seeds. It belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family. It is considered a different squash with varying regions but the same nutritional value and composition.

    It is a highly nutrient-dense vegetable, although, it is low in calories but is rich in minerals, and vitamins that are in the leaves, seeds and juices.

     It is also a rich source of antioxidants such as polyphenols that protect skin from UV light and others, and Protein like nicotinic acid that upgrades the level of glucose and insulin.

    Due to its positive effects and lot of nutrients, pumpkin juice gained popularity among health-conscious people for years. It is produced by juicing pumpkin into a thick delicious beverage.

  It is considered to be a healthy substitute for carbonated drinks that have many drawbacks on health.

    It has various positive effects on the body as it is one of the primary or rich sources of vitamin A also known as beta carotene.

   Beta carotene is an antioxidant that converts into the active form of vitamin A and is then used by the body.

  As beta carotene help in reducing the chances of various types of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and asthma, also reduce overall mortality, obesity, and diabetes and promotes health in many ways.

Ingredients:

  1. 1 can of  Pumpkin
  1. 1 tsp pie spice
  1. ¼ cup of brown sugar (optional)
  1. 1/3 cup of apricot fruit

Instruction:

  • Bring the pumpkin, the kind you want to make juice.
  • Wash the pumpkin thoroughly with fresh water.
  • Cut the pumpkin into halves with help of a knife.
  • Separate the seeds from the pulp.
  • Peel off and cut into chunks of suitable size and juice it in a blender with other ingredients.
