major and small organ with a bean shape that plays a significant role in your body's
health. Its major function is to maintain the balance of electrolytes or fluids and remove waste from the blood and transport it through urine out of the body.
The ways
through which its function is affected are high blood pressure and diabetes
patients which leads to chronic kidney disease. When it is not working
properly, waste builds up in our blood. The risk factors for these are
obesity, smoking, genetics, age and gender.

will be able to increase the health of kidneys, while others may cause harm and

It reduces the
formation of low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol) and boosts the formation
of High-density lipoprotein (good cholesterol).
According to the National kidney foundation, Omega 3 fats help to lower blood pressure and also reduce
the level of fat in the blood.
2. Cauliflower:
Cauliflower is considered to be a rich source of Vitamin C, vitamin K, folate and fibre that help the body resist toxins that cause damage to DNA and cell membrane. It has anti-inflammatory characteristics and compounds such as indoles. It can be used as an alternative to potatoes for the intake of low potassium.
