Green onion is a Chinese traditional herb about 50cm
long with a smelly odour and fibrous root. It is also known as spring and scallion
onion. Basically, it is in a premature state when harvested. It has less acute
flavour than onion so add to dishes for the appetizing purpose (to serve as a garnish
